Independent School Exam Preparation 

At Target Tutoring, we cover an in-depth curriculum to prepare children for the Independent School Exams:

King Edwards School (KES) for boys

King Edwards VI High School (KEHS) for girls 

 

The KES exam consists of three one-hour papers in: English, maths and verbal reasoning.

The KEHS exam consists of three one-hour papers: two English papers (testing reading and writing skills) and one maths paper. 

 

English

The English paper includes open-ended comprehension questions and a creative writing task. 

Our sessions provide:

Maths 

The mathematics paper is split into two sections, starting at an elementary level and becoming progressively more complex.
